Natalee created Aesthetic Blinds & Design in 2011 after 10 years in the industry. In that time, Natalee has been helping clients with their window coverings on Brisbane’s northside for 10+ years. With that brings plenty of knowledge of our environment, style of homes, and current trends.

Do you charge a consultation fee?

No, we provide a free consultation and quote.

Is installation included?

Absolutely, and recommended. If you wish to discuss supply only, please contact me.

What do we do at an in-home consultation?

Please see our ‘Process’ on the home page, but basically your needs will be discussed, many questions asked, suggestions made, samples to see and touch, photos to show, then measure and quote.

Do you service my suburb?

Aesthetic Blinds is a family run local business and services Brisbane clients north of the river, up to Pine River, and west to the Samford area.

Do I have to get my own curtain fabric or do you supply it?

Aesthetic Blinds provides a full service, including fabric. If you happen to have existing fabric you wish to use, please contact me to discuss.

Are you available on weekends?

As a family business, weekends are precious. However, for those unable to meet during the week, a weekend may be arranged. Please ask.

I have no idea what I want – is that ok?

That is perfect! This is where you want to be!

My windows aren’t standard size, does that matter?

Not at all, every blind, shutter and curtain is custom made.

I’m not visual!

Natalee will make sure that everything is explained clearly, and provide as much visual imagery as possible to help.

Do you have a showroom?

The back of the car is practically a showroom! All samples will be brought along to your consultation. It does help in advance, if you are looking for new curtains, to have an idea of colour/texture. There is only so much one car can carry lol.

Why purchase through you and not a large company?

I believe the main benefit is the personalised service. The whole process is guided by me; initial booking, consultation, order, and great installation.

With much less double handling, less errors occur, and communication is open and honest. It’s basically just nicer!

And if you’re worried about cost, don’t. Over the years I’ve rarely noticed much difference with comparative quotes. Aesthetic Blinds is very competitive.

How do you have such a large range if you are only a small business?

Because I want to! Many larger businesses push particular product and fabrics choices as they keep that in stock.
Aesthetic Blinds approaches it as a design choice – our suppliers (with whom we have a fantastic relationship with) have the options available and we like to offer as much as possible to ensure you achieve the style you want.

How long will it take before my window coverings are installed?

Depending on the product, anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks (as per 2022). Imported shutters can take 8 to 12 weeks. This will be discussed at your consultation, and if you need anything by a particular date, please ask. We will be honest with our promises.
